Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is the largest museum in Canada which in it contains objects of the world cultural and natural history. With a main entrance facing Bloor Street in Downtown Toronto, the museum is located in the north east of Queen's Park and Philosopher's Walk at the University of Toronto. The museum was founded in 1912, the museum has maintained close ties with universities in Canada throughout its history, temapt is often share expertise and resources. The museum was to remain under the direct control and management from the University of Toronto until 1968, when it became an independent institution.
